Where are the real green homes? Today’s homes, even when designed to be “green” are much larger than earlier homes and have a much smaller household. Even with efficiency improvements, they are much more wasteful and generate more emissions than the smaller homes of the 50s.

To minimise or refine a search, you can use the 3 Booleans – AND, OR, NOT – as well as phrase searching ( ” ” ).

But perhaps Google is not the best place to search for information on this topic. Why don’t you try our EBSCOhost, ProQuest and Science Direct databases?

And remember, for personal help with your research you can always come to level 5 of the Library.

i forget hot to minimise my search in google.
i was thought by the librarian last time but i have troubling finding the information i need now.
how do i miminise my search on minimum oxygen concertation and inerting?

Yes, noise levels can be annoying to those who cooperate and maintain silence in the library. I guess educating our students on the need to be considerate to other library users is still key. Besides, perhaps more drastic measures can be considered, eg. banning repeated noise makers from the library for x-weeks…
