A Friendly Built Environment

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) has set up an exhibition on “A Friendly Built Environment“.

In the face of an aging population, the importance of a friendly built environment that addresses the needs of people of all ages and physical abilities has become increasingly evident.   

A Friendly Built Environment” has been on display at NTU Library, NYP Library, various community centres and libraries in the heartlands.

SMS Library Notices

From 2 June 2009, all full-time students will be able to get their Library Notices via SMS along with the usual email notices.

If you subscribe to this new service, the Library will send a text message to your mobile when:

  •  the stuff you have borrowed is almost due
  •  the stuff you have borrowed is overdue
  • when you owe money for fines and lost books.

To subscribe, just click on the link https://isis2oss.tp.edu.sg/iSIS2OSS/ and follow these instructions:

  1. Login 
  2. Select “Other Services”
  3. Select “SMS Service Registration” under Online Services – Student Admin
  4. Select the checkbox for “Library Notices Alert”
  5. Select the button “Press to confirm subscription” sms_thing
  6. And don’t forget to check that we have your correct handphone number under “Student Information Update (SIU)”.

Well, an enterprising soul has cleverly combined these ingredients into 3 different kinds of seed cakes – just in time for Mother’s Day!

All proceeds go to the CCN Fund.
